Meet our Board of Directors
Sasha lives in the small mountain community of Florissant, Colorado with her husband and two children. She founded Compass Kids to provide children with practicle tools for managing life's ups and downs, encourage them to trust in their abilities and instincts and embolden them to stand up for what they think is right, even if they have to stand alone.
Angela is a wife and mother to two incredible humans. When she's not working with her husband in real estate or at the local natural pet store, she's diligently assisting with rehoming pets in her community. The board of Compass Kids benefits greatly from her energetic spirit and love for people.
Harvey is retired from his career as a wildlife biologist working in land managment for the Federal Government. He has traveled exensively to Asia and Africa in his current role as a Pastor, where he teaches and mentors Christian leaders worldwide. Harvey is a father of three and grand-father of six. He is an avid hiker and hunter. Harvey brings a unique blend of experience with the corporate world and the non-profit world to Compass Kids.

After completing an early childhood certificate in Austrailia where she was born and raised, Kate worked in Versailles, France. Always an avid traveler, Kate met her husband in Madrid, Spain. Kate has spent time as a foster parent and has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the CASA organization, ensuring children in foster care have a voice in the court system. Although she loves to travel, she spends most of her time at home in Colorado with her husband and two children.
Mackenzie and her seven year old daughter Haven love spending time outdoors with their dog Sadie and riding their horse Red Ryder. Mackenzie has a professional background in marketing, public relations and advertising. She has spent the last fourteen years speaking to thousands of young people about confidence and healthy relationships; instilling an apreciation for their own value. Mackenzie brings passion, dedication and years of experience with children and teens to the board of Compass Kids. She currently operates her own small business "Praire Flower Cleaning and Organization."
Amy is a single mom to two daughters, entrepreneur, and a homeschooler. She is an advocate for individualized, hands on learning, improving critical thinking skills and developing a love of learning. Amy is a holistic life and health coach who offers teaching, inspiration, and empowerment to women who have become frustrated with their health and faith, by helping them heal from the inside out so that they can live their God-given calling with clarity, energy and vibrancy. Amy brings her specialized perspective of health and wellness as it pertains to young people, to the board of Compass Kids.
